Jan has a love of, and talent for music that is infectious, and her upbeat attitude can inspire even the grouchiest of would-be-performers to crack a smile.
Sr. Instructor/Acting Coach
Sadie started her love for the performing arts when she was four years old singing and dancing with her family for pageants, community and private events. She was a guest choreographer for Shanna’s School of Dance for 5 years and then went on to start her own musical theatre/performance group “Sounds Celebration” at the Gene Fullmer and Marv Jenson Recreation Centers, where she directed multiple shows and performance numbers. She took a seven year break after her family’s move to Farmington and started back five years ago directing and choreographing shows for Farmington City. Aside from theatre, she is a private acting coach and is involved in the local film community as a producer, assistant director, casting, location scout, and production designer. Her hope is to one-day write and direct her own film.
Jr. Director/Instructor/Office Manager
Amy has been involved in Musical Theatre in some shape or form all of her life. She took piano lessons growing up and participated many times in the California Music Teachers' Association Piano Competitions where she received numerous awards. She received a Music Scholarship to BYU-Hawaii which she attended for 3 years. Before getting married she performed in The Music Man, West Side Story and Hello Dolly. Even though she took a long break from the stage to get married and have/raise her children, Amy taught piano lessons for 10 years, wrote and directed Alice in Wonderland at Ellison Park Elementary and has recently come back to the stage to be a part of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, 9 to 5 the Musical, Christmas on Broadway, Hello Dolly, and The Wedding Singer. Even though she loves being on the stage, Amy seems to enjoy the "Behind the Scene" action even more. She has been a part of the Showstopper Family since 2010 where she has been an instructor, stage manager, assistant and director for many, many shows. Her proudest moment thus far was writing and directing her own Jr's Production called "Once Upon Broadway". "I feel so privileged to work with Jan and be a part of the amazing program she offers at Showstoppers. What a great place for kids to come and learn how to become a Triple Threat on the stage and have their confidence and self esteem strengthened at the same time."
